Come and volunteer for a few hours at the Native Planting on the Dequindre Cut Walking, Jogging, and Biking Trail. Learn about native plants and get some great exercise! If you know of groups or organizations that would like to volunteer for a community workday, please contact the Detroit Garden Center to schedule a specific date and time (weekday, weekend or evening).
Starting in May, we will be meeting on the second and fourth Fridays for the summer months. Volunteer hours are 9:00 - 11:00 am. The first workday is May 11th. Parking is available in the gated parking lot next to the planting. Entrance to the parking lot is on Woodbridge just east of Orleans St. If possible, notify Detroit Garden Center the day before you plan on volunteering.
