The Detroit Garden Center:  Annual Meeting

Wildflowers Topic of March 16 Annual Meeting

Take in "A Season-fill of Michigan Wildflowers," a slide lecture by Suzan Campbell, a Belle Isle naturalist and candidate in Landscape Architecture at University of Michigan.

Join us Sunday, March 16, at the the Detroit Garden Center Annual Luncheon Meeting at the Dossin Museum on Belle Isle. Ms. Campbell will share her excellent slides and wide breadth of practical knowledge. Among her many accomplishments, she has developed methods for propagating seeds of native trees and wildflowers, and discovered species of trees on Belle Isle, that are considered a new plant community.

The Dossin Museum's auditorium with its spectacular view of the Detroit River will be the program setting, and Traffic Jam and Snug will provide the luncheon and program, $22 for members / $27 non members; program alone $5/m; $10/nm.
